We decided to go above and beyond for this year’s World Book Day, so we put together a unique event for players who love the Book symbol just as much as we do! As you remember, this is the second phase of the event, with the first one having ended yesterday. Let’s go through a quick recap to refresh the info about the World Book Day tournaments.
World Book Day from Social Tournaments – Two Sides of the same story
The kick-off of the World Book Day Tournaments took place on the 20th of April with the Qualifying phase. Over the last three days, between the 20th and the 22nd of April, players had the chance to collect Qualifying tickets by playing the available Qualifying slot tournaments. There were 4 tournaments per day, each running for 6 hours, thus allowing participants to bag more tickets! However, as this is a competition, we had to pick the winners, so the first 1000 players of each Qualifying tournament won one ticket.
If you are among the winners, keep reading, this is the part you’ve been waiting for. The second and final stage consists of one epic tournament on one of the best online slots from Pragmatic Games, the John Hunter & the Book of Tut Respin Slot, available only for those with a Qualifying ticket in their Collections. However, there is a plot twist! Did you really think we weren’t going to make it as fun as possible? You know that’s not how we roll.
The twist is the Reset score feature. Players with more than 1 ticket can reset their score if they’re unhappy with it, until they ran out of ticket of course. In addition, there’s also a time limit – players will have 24h to spin the reels and get as high a position in the leaderboard as possible. The prize pool all participants will be fighting to bag is worth €5000, so better get that Book of Tut on the reels quickly!
Who’s up for some Book of Tut reading? Dust off your Qualifying tickets and let the Final Tournament of the World Book Day Event begin!
